Baby Thirteen-Lined Ground Squirrel
Location: Eisenbahn State Trail, Barton, West Bend, Wisconsin
Not much bigger than my thumb, this baby thirteen-lined ground squirrel was not camera shy at all. He let me get right up to him, and didn't run off until I was finished.
If you truly are what you eat, this little guy must have eaten a peanut!
