Brahe Class Armored Tanker
The Brahe Class was among the first few ships built using technology reverse engineered from the still-then-mysterious Othaen Federation.
As they got older, however, many were stripped down for materials and then converted into armored tankers for delivering heavy elements such as Hwm 274. Although not as tough as the specialized Lippershey Class, the number of these available and inexpense to operate made them useful, especially as Earth begun plunging further into Othaen space.
The reason for the bright colors are what you would expect; to stave off overheating and to differentiate it from regular warships.
