VFR Lǔkâdthǐos, a Pattern VII B Cruiser
For the 23rd Century Universe.
The Lǔkâdthǐos was named for her Fleet Lord, who had foolishly sent his fleet on a raid of a world long held by the Sarthîon, thinking his attack would be unexpected and would result in glorious victory. However, the Sarthîon had expected his arrival through means still uncertain; some tales speak of a device that could detect objects exiting the ether, while others credit strange sorcery.
Regardless, the Fleet Lord was easily defeated and fled the scene. For his dishonorable conduct, the Emperor himself stripped the Fleet Lord of his title and his High Tarsin name, and was banished to a a far off world where he spent the rest of his days working in the mines to earn his wages. His new lowlander name has, of course, been forgotten.
The ship, however, was repossessed by the Imperial Navy due to the fact that, even with her post construction refits, she is one of the very few VII cruisers known to exist. It is beleaved that these ships are capable of standing up to the elusive Kalkhôr, itself a pattern VIII Cruiser. For this reason she mostly patrols the outer edges of the civilized realms to conduct inspection of planets as well as collect taxes.

So this ship was mostly built by Awesome-o-saurus, but he never could finish it to a standard he liked. (You can see the WIP image here.) I gave my hand at it to see if maybe he might get inspired to finish it or something but alas.
