An Old Memory
I was looking through old photographs to add to a college portfolio when I encountered this old creation of mine from a few years ago. Some of you may remember it- I've did some editing a few months ago to make it wallpaper worthy. If a few of you want to download it then I've changed copyright settings to NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons.
Upon looking at it further, I've realized that it is pretty much the grandfather of a lot of my work, LEGO or not. The grayscale colorscheme is obvious, but it also has that angular, mechanical feel to it that is somehow also predatory and organic. I can't really explain it further than that, but I love it.
I wanted to thank all of you guys for helping to create such an amazing _FOL community. (We've got branches reaching into just about every design industry, too!) I've learned a lot about my self through this hobby and its you guys that make it so enjoyable. Even though half of the incentive for being here is getting those addictive comments and favs, I can't say I'd be the same if it weren't for the effort I go to for getting my MOCs just right and trying to add a perfect presentation- especially recently. Before I start to sound like a broken record, I'd like to nd by saying that I look forward to an amazing 2014, even if Yahoo/Flickr doesn't make it as comfortable as we'd like,
