Kazuyuki "Model S" Freighter

Whilst bigger companies competed for even bigger government contracts, Doarn Kazuyuki's miniscule family company unexpectedly took a risky all-or-nothing move by investing all their assets into the development of a single model of ship. What would later come to be known as the "Model S" was the result, designed to be a smaller alternative to the hulking cargo ships that previously crowded shipyards and spaceways.

Almost poetically; the small, less-then-glorious endeavor of the company would in turn radically revolutionize the economy and even turn the tides of war more than any massive corporation at the time could have dreamed. The Model S, requiring only a crew of five, provided a much more sustainable option for other emerging companies, finally allowing the more agrarian outer colonies of the United Nations of Earth to legitimately industrialize. Not only did citizens find it easier to rise in the social classes- Earth (Now the name representing the entirety of non-Tarsin human civilization) could fully utilize its resources everywhere it controlled territory. The ever-growing Gross Domestic Product throughout the colonies created more competition and available capital. (Which of course means the UNE could pump out more war machines to throw at the Othaen Federation and later the Coalition of Planets.)

While the company itself stayed relatively small, Kazuyuki's impact was undoubtedly the window to prosperity. The new economic influence that outer colony consumers possessed created a social environment where the increasingly fascist mega-metropolises within the inner colonies had to bend (Or at least pretend to bend) to the values and morals of their formerly rural siblings. All you have to do is ask a school child what a freighter looks like and she'll tell you it looks like a Kazuyuki.
