The phone call came in the morning. It asked me my name and address, and asked if I would be available at a specific time to receive my gift.

Gift?

"Excuse me, but I have no idea what this is about." I was pretty sure I knew, however: What better way to case my house? Duh, I'm sorry, I'll be out then, sir. How about later in the evening?

Well, it turned out that a certain person had sent me a gift for my birthday. Yeah, I was available.
