The Promised Land

This is part of the menu from an out-of-the-way restaurant in Rome, where we had dinner that night. You've got to understand, I love grilled cheese. I mean, since I was a toddler, I've loved it. It is my soul food. So when they handed me this menu in Rome, I expected native Italian dishes. Yeah, they had Italian. They also had FIFTEEN DIFFERENT KINDS OF GRILLED CHEESE.
