South Street Snowstorm
This is the South Street Original Smoke House, Crab Shack and Authentic Dive Bar. The last part of that moniker is fanciful, since this was a new, hip dive bar, but the owners did a good job of it. It lay half a block from my apartment in Nashville, where I went to law school.
I caught the restaurant during an exceptional Nashville event: snow. Not pictured: careening cars, snowplows (since there weren't any) and gobsmacked officials who instantly cancelled everything. All of Vanderbilt University cancelled classes...except for the law school, where the mostly northern corps of professors scoffed at a couple inches of snow and told us to drive our butts down there.
