The EMD Spitfire
Trail fail or leading...it really doesn't matter to me for the CP 6644, so learning it tied down along the Hannibal Sub. was just awesome. I honestly never thought this one would get stuck on the BNSF System, let alone take a tour on the line by the house.
The locomotive wears the camouflage colors applied to Royal Canadian Air Force "Spitfire" fighter planes flown at the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944. Taken on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. trailing on a H-MEMGAL1 25A on 12/29/2021.
