Phra Maha Chedi Si Rajakarn Sunset
After checking out the reclinging Buddha, I noticed the sunset was already starting, so I looked for a place to set up a timelapse where people wouldn't be in my shot. (which was nearly impossible, with any foreground I liked) I settled on these four tall stupas that rise above the other buildings. (so I could point the camera a litter higher, cutting out the people below, where there was a garden spelling "Welcome to Wat Pho" so it was a popular spot for photos) Each stupa is 42 metres high, and is dedicated to the first four Chakri kings. (Chakri is the current ruling royal house of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Head of the house is the monarch. The dynasty has ruled Thailand since the founding of the Rattanakosin Era and the city of Bangkok in 1782 following the end of King Taksin of Thonburi's reign, when the capital of Siam shifted to Bangkok -Wikipedia)
