Cumulus Cave

This is a stereoscopic image to show depth. If you cross your eyes so the two images overlap and align, it should look 3D. (it works like a magic eye, if you remember those)

This is the kind of scene where stereoscopy really shines. It's too bad I couldn't get more of the scene below, but there's only so much one can do from a small window on a fast moving airplane.

It's neat to see the top of a cloud punching through a layer of clouds (like the previous photo, and this one) but to see underneath the layer of clouds as well is even better, and that area of the photo (bottom left) seems super depthy. (yes, I made that last word up, but if it catches on, it could be a real word someday, so feel free to use it)
