one of Costa Rica's most famous inhabitants, the blue morpho butterfly is generally considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
the outer face of it's wings are a metallic blue colour which is mesmerising to watch once they start flying around. the underside of the wings are also pretty damn spectacular, especially with natural lighting like this.
