With a history spanning over 135 million years, older than all other rainforests on earth including the Amazon, the Daintree has survived all natural disasters that have befallen mankind. Inhabited by the Kuku Yalanji aborigines for the last 20'000 years the Daintree has maintained her majesty with pride and I was fortunate enough to get a glimpse of what would surely be, a little piece of heaven on earth.
