Kaninchenkauz - rabbit owl (Athene cunicularia)
Am dritten Tag unseres Fotoworkshops in Spanien besuchten wir Camp ALMA, wo uns unter anderem auch dieser Kaninchenkauz gezeigt wurde.
Kaninchenkäuze kommen in den Grassteppen des westlichen Nord- und Südamerikas bis zum Kap Hoorn vor. Sie erreichen eine Körpergröße von 19 bis 26 Zentimetern und ein Gewicht von ca. 140 bis 200 g.

On the third day of our photo workshop in Spain we visited Camp ALMA, where we were also shown this rabbit owl.
Rabbit owls occur in the grass steppes of western North and South America up to Cape Horn. They reach a height of 19 to 26 centimeters and a weight of approx. 140 to 200 g.
