All the pieces of the puzzle

I have been building my PC for almost a year now - slowed up somewhat by the purchase of lenses, holidays and more recently redundancy. I have finally got the missing part, courtesy of my parents as a Birthday present - the processor. Now do I go for elements 6 or 7 or full bore?
