Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper, Canada
Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper National Park - named in 1916 after a British nurse who was executed by the German soldiers during the World War I for helping Allied soldiers escape from occupied Belgium to the Netherlands. It has an elevation of 3,363 m (~11,000 ft). The famous Angel Glacier hangs from its north face in front of the vast Cavell valley which leads to the Cavell Lake and further to the Tonquin Valley.
