For people from India, this full moon (full moon during the month of Sharavna, fourth month in Indian calendar) has a special meaning; it is known as "Rakhi-Purnima" (the word Purnima stands for full moon). On this day, people celebrate "Raksha Bandhan" or "Rakhi Bandhan" to celebrate the special relationship of love and protection between brother and sister or in other words, between man and woman irrespective of any biological relationship.
