If you would like to enjoy the full light installation of the Duisburg Nord Landscape Park you need to visit it in the evening at the weekend. During the week there is only a partly light spectacle available. However it´s worth a visit at a sunny day. You can only have a walk and enjoy the landscape or you can do sports if you like. In the middle of the former ore bunkers you will find great alpine climbing walls. A high-wire course has been installed in the old foundry hall and an old gasometer has been rebuilt and is today the biggest artificially diving sport centre in Europe.
Wenn ihr die volle Beleuchtung der Lichtinstallation im Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord bestaunen wollt, so müsst ihr diesem in den Abendstunden am Wochenende einen Besuch abstatten. Unter der Woche ist lediglich eine teilweise Beleuchtung aktiv. Dennoch ist der Landschaftspark auch an sonnigen Tagen durchaus einen Besuch wert. Ihr könnt einfach eine Runde spazieren gehen und die Landschaft genießen oder aber ihr betätigt euch sportlich. In der Mitte der alten Erzbunkeranlage befindet sich heute ein großartiger alpiner Klettergarten und in der alten Gießhalle wurde ein Hochseil-Parcours installiert. Wer sich für den Tauchsport interessiert, findet in einem alten, umgebauten Gasometer heute das größte, künstliche Tauchsportzentrum Europas.
