Gloomy Merlion

Today I'm preparing my print for the Art Gemini Prize finalists exhibition in Singapore next month. You can view my artwork at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore in Marina Bay, 9 to 15 November.

Unfortunately I cannot visit the exhibition in person. I'd have loved to fly in for a visit, but my schedule doesn't allow for it. However, thinking about another trip to Singapore has made me want to revisit some of my archived images and edit them using Skylum's upcoming Luminar 4 editing software.

I took this image of the Merlion in Marina Bay during a wet and miserable evening. Hardly anyone about - they're all cowering from the rain. This stretch of Singapore's waterfront is arguably the most photogenic in the city for architecture lovers - there's something interesting in every direction.
