This healthy looking female had 5 cubs and it was a great privilege for us to watch the young at play; on the go chasing each other then collapsing exhausted for a couple of minutes.It was enchanting. The one cub, probably the youngest male rarely left her side. We became so engrossed that we forgot the excellent HD video capability of Sue's Canon 70D which would have been ideal to capture the event.
This was our second venture to Kenya using Lion Trails Safaris Ltd www.liontrailssafaris.com and our excellent guide and driver Ben Gitari.
