Milton Stein, Proprietor - Wicker Park 1959

Long before 7-11's and White Hens, we had what was referred to as "confectionery stores" in our neighborhoods. This man, who Rich says was a great guy, owned one of these at the southeast corner of Leavitt and North Avenue. He also says that he sold the store in about 1971 and moved to Florida.
