Prudential Building - Chicago

To someone growing up in the '50's (me) this building has a special significance. First, when it was completed in 1955 it was the first highrise finished in Chicago in over 20 years. Second, it received a lot of publicity on TV as all four (!) of the cities television stations had their broadcast antennas atop it. Third, it was the tallest building in the city beating the Board of Trade by a few feet.

Architect: Naess & Murphy.
