"Lockjaw" Davis
Eddie Davis (1922-1986) was an underrated tenor saxophonist. Besides being a stellar soloist he was a member of the Count Basie, Lucky Millinder, Andy Kirk, Cootie Williams and Louis Armstrong bands. This album has an excellent version of "When Sunny Gets Blue". I don't think this album, from 1968, has ever been released on CD.
