The Endless Staircase (Yin Yang version) - DSC_0952_6
Hidden in a small backyard of a normal office building is the 'endless staircase'. Since 2004 this staircase has been the design object of the international auditing company KPMG in the Schwanthalerhöhe district.
The artist Olafur Eliasson has already provided highlights in the metropolis of New York (temporary waterfalls under Brooklyn Bridge) and for KPMG he has brought his kind of art to Munich. The staircase conveys an endless cycle of up and down and is the only staircase in the world where you don't have to change direction when climbing up or down.
