FireFlys.

A fun evening out with Darren Hopkins in my local area, at a new location i'd found.

Probaly one of the most challenging shots last night, not in terms of the actual lightpainting, but due to the fact the woods were pitch black and even with my eyes adjusted to the dark i couldnt see more than half a foot in front of myself.

We really could have really done with another person to help out with the lighting and lens cap.

After being eaten alive by flys earlier, and the heat and trying to count paces in the dark (so not to hit any trees) I fell and nearly went into the brook running behind and to the side of Darren on my way to spark up some wirewool.

Luckily i'd caught my rolling torch before it took a plunge into the stream.

I thought i was doing quite well at this point.....proud of my ninja skills then i slipped down the bank and turned on the torch accidentaly, but by some fluke of a miracle it didnt effect the shot.

A good thing really as i wouldnt have wanted to do it again.

180 Camera rotation flip shot, shot in one continious exposure.

Sooc raw conversion,no layers or photoshop.
