Brighton Royal Pavilion Reflections
A short trip to Brighton and some bad weather gave less photographic opportunities than I was hoping for.
I'm quite pleased with this one though, as much for the composition as anything else. The pond that I used for the reflection is actually a tiny feature opposite the pavilion, it's barely 5 feet by 3 feet. By getting very low (the camera was literally 1 inch above the water, hand held) and using the Sigma at 10mm it makes the water like a lake and hides the 20 feet of grass in between.
It all helps deliver the grandeur of such an impressive structure that I was looking for, shame there wasn't an amazing sky!
