The View From the Top of the House

Per thecanadianencyclopedia.ca:

"The Orpheum Theatre, built in Vancouver 1926-27, was designed by Marcus Priteca (1889-1971) for the Chicago-based Orpheum Circuit, which toured high-class vaudeville acts and short films, even as feature-length movies were becoming the popular entertainment of choice. In its original building permit the Orpheum was classified as a movie palace, based on its almost 2800-seat capacity, extravagant decor, and full provisions for cinema projection. Now a rare survivor of the palace type, it was once among a group of 17 similar theatres built throughout Canada. "

This is the view of the stage through the doors at the top of the balcony.

Six shots merged in Photoshop Elements. The ISO is phenomenally high, 12800, but I think it turned out well.
