The never-changing scenery
This is the type of landscape I grew up gazing at; a view that changes very little if at all through the seasons with springtime wildflowers blooming and withering all too fast that if you miss them one day, they'll be dry and dying the next. It's a golden-brown and bronze vista for the most part with patches of very dark green and a bluish gray backdrop where the sea meets the sky! My favourite spot to gaze out is from that very place where I took this shot, up the hill and overlooking the ships in the distance and it's exactly the same in May as it was back in September...
P.S. I suppose I should have mentioned it earlier to avoid causing confusion... I am not fortunate enough to live in a place with such beautiful sceneries and rural beauty. I was born and raised in the big city concrete jungle and still live in the same neighbourhood as I always have. But this is a place we tend to visit as often as possible and, unlike other people, I guess I'm lucky in that respect ;)))
