Happy '16 all...back home and working on the Iceland trip before getting onto Asian shots from an amazing trip over Xmas.
It took three trips to Iceland to get to this near-mythical location - but after a bumpy an painfully slow drive off the ring road, over the road that isn't a road towards the ocean I finally made it. This is the fourth shot if a series of maybe 5 of the wreckage.
The eerie wreckage of the crashed DC-3 US Navy plane has seen better days, although its pretty good kick given its been out on the freezing lava plains for 42 years.
Looks best on black.
