It took three trips to Iceland to get to this near-mythical location - but after a bumpy an painfully slow drive off the ring road, over the road that isn't a road towards the ocean I finally made it. This is the fifth shot if a series of (for now) 6 of the wreckage. Final shot will be done in the next week or so.
The eerie wreckage of the crashed DC-3 US Navy plane has seen better days, although its pretty good kick given its been out on the freezing lava plains for 42 years.
Looks best on black.
