She really enjoyed visiting the chickens to feed them...(or as she calls them, the "bockbockbocks").
The weather canopy ends of working a bit like insulation. Not only does it completely block the wind, but on a 15 minute ride, the air temperature under the canopy becomes 10 to 15 degrees warmer (my estimate). So, although it would appear that she's "sitting out in the cold". she's actually warmer as she rides.
So, there have yet to be complaints about getting on the bike this winter. Nor have their been any fits of "how much longer till we get home?". Instead, she enjoys seeing the sites and sounds along the route, like the Christmas lights lining Main Street, or the impressive impromptu snowman on the lawn of the City Building.
No, the only fit today was when we had to say goodbye to the bockbockbocks...
