Sunderland University Halls of residence September 2002

Twenty years to the week after I started my student life in Sunderland, wide-eyed freshers do the same thing.

 

Supposedly the chief architect of this building jumped off the top of it when it was finished because the final design compromised his vision. Urban myth, I suspect.
