Entangled
Occasionally you will make acquaintances with a location never previously visited, you may have done some research, studied the maps and photographs and checked the position where the sun will make its first presence felt, but when you arrive in near darkness and all alone, serenaded by the first bars of the dawn symphony, you are totally unprepared for the beauty which is yet to unfold before you.
Oh, but she can be a fickle mistress, if the mood suits, she may turn her back on you and reward you with drab, overcast skies and drizzle, however, if you’ve paid your taxes on time you may be treated to the best show on earth. Today, I just got lucky. Maybe I wasn't all bad in a previous existence.
She lay perfectly still, a soft blanket of mist hugging her cool waters, as dawn broke, her beauty was revealed, enchanting and mesmerising and one felt so fortunate to just......….be.
