A member of the notorious Miridae family, this Dionconotus measured less than 10mm. Most of the more well-known mirids have received attention because they are agricultural pests. They pierce plant tissues and feed on the juices. This little fella, along with his many friends, showed a preference to the Asphodelus plants.
