Burning Bridges and Settling Scores
One look at my photostream will tell you pretty quickly that I'm much more of a fan of standard cab EMDs than widecabs. But I do like the look of the SD60i/m and the 80MAC. Those cabs have a neat look to them, so I always shot them any chance I could.
With the old stuff disappearing it's become increasingly difficult to find something interesting to shoot, so when I saw a pair of these SD60Is stopped at CP CANNON on my ride home I had to pull in and wait for them to get a green light.
After a few minutes they did, and the two EMD 710 prime movers throttled up and lugged their heavy coal train east over the mighty Shermans Creek at Duncannon in beautiful late winter afternoon sunlight.
