Classic Hawaiian Model
Nondys was a local model to the big island in Hawaii. She recently relocated to Los Angeles pursuing her career goals. She had that really classic, and yet still contemporary in ways, styling as a hawaiian model. This was a bit more traditional than anything I normally do, but I liked it and thought it was worth sharing.
A postcard style bikini shoot. I had lots of fun options playing with poses between the beach trees and lava rocks. I thought this one worked well because she had that youthful smooth skin, and so I wanted to pair her against something really coarse to help accentuate that. The tree worked really well for this.
Shot using two SB800 flashes with no modifiers. Flash left set to 1/8 powers as we were still getting a lot of fill from the ambient light, and then a flash barely to the the right of the camera to help fill in the shadows and reduce some of the harsher contrast.
