Scar

After my thyroidectomy, I was certain I was going to be so self-conscious of my surgical scar. I wore bandanas around my neck for a short time to help with the sun but otherwise gave up pretty quickly at trying to make my scar "go away" faster.

 

Almost a year later, I wish it wasn't as visible as it is. I don't get as many looks as I did in the beginning so that's good.
