The Rainbow Lorikeet is a species of the Australian Parrot, which is common along the eastern seaboard from Queensland to Tasmania.
A much-loved Australian icon, this magnificent Lorikeet suns itself, while showing off it's spectacular plumage, seemingly without a care in the world.
Taken 2m away (hand held with IS on) with a focal length of 200mm @ f/2.8 | 1/200s | ISO 100
This new lens of mine is a revelation, and despite photography being an expensive hobby, it's worth every cent in my opinion!
