A Personal Photo Assignment in Joshua Tree National Park

While walking around the Cap Rock in Joshua Tree National Park with a view looking to the west-northwest across the desert mountain landscape present in this part of the park. What drew me into the setting was the varied plant-life leading up to the Joshua Trees in the middle portion of the image. I felt that added a foreground that would help draw the viewer into the image. Far off in the distance are the ridges and peaks of Quail Mountain.
