Living a Tradition of Solitude as I Walk in Bryce Canyon National Park

An off-angle view of a lone tree in the Wall Street area along the Navajo Loop in Bryce Canyon National Park. My thought on composing this image was to capture the setting to my front, from the image bottom with the tree base to the tree crown and skies above. Using a portrait orientation allowed me to include all of that. While there was a large dynamic range between the two portions of the image, I attempted to meter the exposure to minimize blowing any highlights while being able to later pull out the more shadow areas, using Aurora HDR Pro. I later worked with DxO PhotoLab 5 to make edits for the final image.
