A setting looking to the west while taking in views across white sands and dune formations present along the Alkali Flat Trail in White Sands National Park. I was standing on a saddle between two dune ridges, so I had a view looking down and then across this desert setting. The rest of the composition was finding that right point to line up a view across the dunes with the more distant San Andres Mountains and having a portion of the blue skies with clouds above.
