Nature Sure is Colorful with Its Flowers!
While at the Trestle Vista Observation Site with a view looking to the southeast to the namesake bridge. This is in Lincoln National Forest. My thought in composing this image was to get down low so that I could capture a look across some nearby wildflowers, both purple and yellow, and using the wooden bridge as a backdrop. I decided to open on the aperture so that only the purple wildflower was in focus with everything else fading away in focus from that. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 6 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
