Raven on a Tree Branch (Bryce Canyon National Park)
While on a hiking along the Rim Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park with a view looking to the northwest at a raven watching people walk by as it was perched high up on this tree. What drew me into this setting was a few things. One was the observant raven who was seemingly watching everyone. There was also the way the skies with clouds were that color contrasting backdrop and seemed to highlight the raven and lone tree. Composing the image was a matter of taking advantage of those blue skies and then waiting for the raven to look my general direction and have this pose of ruffled feathers.
