My Time for a Getaway in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest
While walking the Discovery Trail and a view looking to the southwest beyond some nearby ancient bristlecone pines to a view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. My thinking in composing this image was to capture that look beyond and use a layer to approach doing so. Nearby would be some ancient bristlecone pine trees, then the open mountain plain with a road leading to more more distant mountains.
