Eroded Rock Formations in the Alabama Hills National Scenic Area (HDR)
A setting looking to the south while taking in views across eroded rock formations and walking along the Mobius Arch Loop Trail in the Alabama Hills National Scenic Area. The focal point as I composed this image was the one prominent formation that seemingly jutted out and above the others as it pointed to the skies above. I pulled back a little on the focal point to include some of the surrounding landscape to add a sense of scale and grandeur to the setting.
I chose to work with Aurora HDR Pro to better bring that complete setting in the image. I later exported a TIFF image to DxO PhotoLab 5 where I did some final adjustments with contrast, saturation and brightness for the final image.
