No Need to Rent Time in Nature (Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve)
A wide angle view looking to the north from the roadside pull off around the national park entrance sign. My thinking in composing this image was to have a balanced setting, more or less, with the sweeping view across the desert grassland and then the sand dunes, mountains and blue skies above. In someways, the balance was between the more earth tones at the bottom part of the image and the bluer ones with the mountains and skies in the upper portion. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 3 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
