Taking in a Majestic View at Glacier Point (Yosemite National Park)
It's kind of hard to describe anything more than majestic or amazing (or wow!) when standing at Glacier Point, even on an overcast day with low clouds. What I decided to do to minimize the low clouds was angle my SLR camera slightly downward , so that it captured more of the valley that seemed to stretch on to the horizon. I later added some contrasts with control points in Capture NX2 to the mountainside and valley beyond to bring out more than just the blah colors of that day.
