India steam - PT31516 Hanumangarh

PT31516, photographed on 14 October 1978, was one of 10 large metre gauge 4-6-4T tank locomotives built by Vulcan Foundry, UK and originally destined for Burma. The order was diverted to India and in 1978 the last active examples were based at Hanumangarh on the Northern Railway where they were confined to local pilot dities.
