On 12 January 1995, Australian National broad gauge locomotives, 843/CK2/844, head across the River Light near Hamley Bridge, South Australia, with grain loading from Balaklava bound ultimately for Victoria. Post privatisation 843 remained on broad gauge with GWA until placed in storage in 2014, CK2 was rebuilt and is now on standard gauge owned by SCT (as T404), while 844 ended up working on the narrow gauge iron ore lines at Whyalla with GWA, .
