B76

Ownership of former Victorian Railways and V/Line unit B76 passed to private passenger operator West Coat Railway for use on Melbourne to Warnambool trains the mid-1990s.

Following the demise of WCR in 2004 it was picked up by CFCL Australia as a lease unit and continues to see occasional use in the Melbourne area on infrastructure trains for suburban operator MTM.

It was one of 25 EMD 567B-powered, double ended, broad gauge units built between 1951-1953 by Clyde Engineering for the Victorian Railways.
